  • 8 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Half lemon peel (grated)
  • 4 1/4 cups milk
  • 7 oz dry biscuits

Steps for the Preparation of Sweet Cream and Jam

  • Prepare the custard: work the egg yolks with the sugar. Add the flour and mix. Combine the milk, stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps. Scent with the grated lemon peel and cook, always stirring, until the cream thickens. Cover with film and let cool completely.

  • In a baking dish, place a layer of biscuits. Soak them with the milk. Add the cream and some jam, whatever you prefer. Make multiple layers until you finish the ingredients.

  • Place the dessert in the fridge for at least a couple of hours before serving.

Storage

You can keep the dessert in the fridge, covered with film, for two or three days.
