Savory stuffed rolls designed for Christmas but delicious all the time and especially super easy!!!!!!!!
They are the classic stuffed appetizers with white sandwich bread that we can make a couple of days in advance and then slice into rounds at the last minute, just 5 minutes before serving everything at the table!
The sandwich bread is widely used to make these savory rounds, soft and appetizing rolls that we can fill with creamy and tasty sauces but also with grilled vegetables, tomini, thin slices of semi-aged cheeses, and…MORE!
Instead of taking the long rectangle of sandwich bread, we can take squares of about 7 inches and make small rolls…as always, adapt the recipe to your dishes and your home conveniences!
Clearly, we can make ONLY the savory rolls BEFORE the meal, seal them well with cling film, and THEN cover everything with the leftover cheese from the filling made with spreadable cheese and soft ricotta…you can do it 2 days before!
Personally, a filling for these soft bread rolls that I really like is ricotta slightly seasoned with salt and pepper and slices of salami Milano or golfetta…what do you think?
I leave you some ideas for homemade and very good appetizers but

HOW TO PREPARE STUFFED SAVORY ROLLS
1) As always, for preparing these rolls with sandwich bread, it’s recommended to gently flatten them by rolling with a rolling pin. So, place each slice on the work surface or a flat surface and roll over it 2/3 times to lower the thickness and make them softer and perfect for rolling.
2) Then spread a small part of the mixture made from the combination of ricotta and creamy spreadable cheese that you flavor slightly with salt and pepper.
3) Now make a second layer with some slices of smoked salmon, then roll it up tightly, wrapping each savory stuffed roll in cling film.
4) Place in the fridge and store for at least a couple of hours the savory stuffed rolls.
5) When it’s time to prepare the meal, take the rolls and after arranging them nicely on the serving tray, cover everything with the leftover mixed cheese.
6) Then take a fork and with the prongs try to make decorations, but if you want, take the pastry bag and using star tips, decorate and cover the entire surface of the rolls with sandwich bread.
7) Sprinkle with pink pepper and we can serve this appetizing cold Christmas appetizer and even not!
Enjoy your meal!

1) For these savory stuffed rolls, we can think of all the fillings that really tempt us. We can open the fridge and a jar or two and have fun experimenting with combinations and creating tantalizing and creative contrasts to make wow appetizers that will surprise our guests!
2) The false pepper or pink pepper goes perfectly both for the taste and the color, and in fact, I’ve added a heap of it!
