Steps
To prepare the desert roses…
In the bowl of the stand mixer fitted with the flat beater, add all the ingredients: all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, potato starch, vanillin, baking powder, cubed butter, eggs, and a pinch of salt.
Turn on the stand mixer for several seconds until you obtain a well-mixed, homogeneous, and slightly sticky dough.
With damp hands, take a small amount of dough at a time (about 0.7 oz), form into balls (32 pieces) and roll them in corn flakes in a bowl.
As you prepare the balls, place them spaced apart on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Finally, bake the desert roses in a preheated oven at 356°F and cook them for 20 minutes in fan mode.
Once the cookies are baked, remove them from the oven, let them cool, and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
