Super Quick Apple Donuts, a delightful and healthy treat that is made in no time!!
With just a few ingredients we always have at home and just a few minutes to prepare them, they are great for a snack not only for the little ones, everyone loved them here!
I made them with pizza dough but you can also use puff pastry.

Ingredients
- 2 Golden apples (or any kind you prefer)
- 1 roll pizza dough (refrigerated section, or puff pastry)
- 3.5 oz brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- as needed milk (for brushing)

- Parchment paper
- 1 Baking tray
- Pizza cutter
- Brush
Steps
Preheat the oven to 356°F and line the baking tray with parchment paper.
Peel the apples and slice them about half an inch thick, remove the core with a knife, you can use the tip of a piping bag nozzle to help.
In a plate, mix the sugar and cinnamon, coat the apples in the sugar on both sides.
With a pizza cutter or knife, cut the pizza dough into strips about half an inch wide.
Now patiently wrap the dough strips around the apple slices and place on the parchment paper.
Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 356°F for 25 minutes.
Let cool slightly and enjoy the donuts.
Store the donuts in a container for a couple of days.
