The sea bream fillet with cherry tomatoes and potatoes is a simple, tasty, and fragrant fish dish. For the recipe, I used fresh sea bream fillet, then enriched it with cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced potatoes, and basil, which gives the dish fragrance, all cooked in the oven. They are prepared in a few minutes if you use those already cleaned, otherwise, you can replace them with whole sea bream and fillet it, although it will require a few more minutes for preparation and a lower cost.

Preparation
To prepare the sea bream fillet with cherry tomatoes and potatoes…
First, take the potatoes, peel them, and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch) with the mandoline, then place them in a bowl with cold water and let them soak to remove the starch. Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients.
Take the fresh sea bream fillet (I used one already cleaned), scrape the skin with a knife to remove any remaining scales, and use tweezers to remove any remaining bones. Then rinse them under cold running water and pat them dry with paper towels.
Now wash and quarter the cherry tomatoes, then place the fillet in a lightly greased baking dish, pour the cherry tomatoes and drained potatoes around it, and dry them with a dish towel.
Finally, season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake the fish in a preheated oven at 392°F and cook for 20 minutes in fan mode.
Once the sea bream fillet with cherry tomatoes and potatoes is cooked, sprinkle some fresh basil, minced by hand, on top. Serve the dish hot.
Storage
Once cooked, they can be stored in the refrigerator for 2/3 days.
