It can be prepared in just a few minutes, without cooking, I liked it so much. We use fennel, Red Delicious apple with bright red peel, very sweet, perfect for preparing salads and fruit salads, naturally almonds, and a touch of natural yogurt.

  • 7 tbsp plain natural yogurt
  • 1.4 oz almonds (toasted, salted)
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Steps for Fennel Salad with Almonds

  • Wash and trim the fennel, cut them into cubes. Chop the almonds and toast them in the oven for a few minutes or use the ready-made ones. Wash the apple and cut it into chunks like the fennel, leave the peel on

  • Mix apple and fennel in a bowl, dress them with yogurt, oil, and add the toasted almonds. Distribute the salad in bowls and decorate with fennel fronds, or fresh mint. Serve

Tips, variations for the salad

Instead of apple, you can use pear, and instead of almonds, walnuts; it will be equally delicious. Naturally, the combinations can be endless, depending on your taste and inclination.
