Chocolate bundt cake with pears and rum: one of my favorite desserts.
Pears and chocolate are a classic, but adding rum and dark chocolate makes it a superb dessert. On these wonderful winter days, I love winter, pampering oneself with a nice slice of cake is priceless. If you made the cake yourself, even better, satisfaction and pride in having prepared such a delicacy.
The cake has a soft and moist interior with many pieces of pear and dark chocolate, the next day it’s even better, and it stays fresh for several days. Very simple to make and super quick, you will be really satisfied

Ingredients for chocolate bundt cake with pears and rum
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3.5 oz rum (can be replaced with an equal amount of milk)
- 1/2 cup corn oil
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 pears
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 packet baking powder
- to taste powdered sugar (for garnish)

Steps for chocolate bundt cake with pears and rum
Peel 2 pears, remove the core, and cut into chunks, not too small, and place them in a bowl, drizzling with rum
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using the electric whisk until light and frothy. Add the oil slowly and continue mixing, then add the sifted flour with the baking powder and then the cocoa
Now add the pears, rum, and chocolate chips, mix and blend everything well
Transfer everything into a mold lined with damp parchment paper. Peel the last pear, cut it into 4 parts and each slice into 3, arrange the slices on the cake surface. Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes, always do the toothpick test before removing
Let cool, remove from the mold and serve with a dusting of powdered sugar to taste
