Preparation for Panna Cotta with Pomegranate Juice
To prepare this dessert, start by extracting the pomegranate juice.
Cut the pomegranates in half (about 4 depending on the size) pass them through the citrus juicer and extract the juice. I used the Braun CJ 3050 citrus juicer.Immerse the gelatin sheets in cold water.
Take a pot and pour in the cream, sugar, pomegranate juice, and vanilla, bring to a boil.
Squeeze the gelatin well and pour it into the boiling liquid, stir carefully to mix everything well.Turn off the stove and pour the mixture into small individual cups or larger bowls.
Let it set in the fridge for at least 3 hours, if you are in a hurry you can speed up the setting by placing the cups in the freezer.Serve the cups of panna cotta with pomegranate juice well chilled, either in the cup or unmolded on a small plate, garnished with pomegranate seeds and a few fresh mint leaves!
