CROSTINI WITH BASTARDO DEL GRAPPA AND PEAR

CROSTINI WITH BASTARDO DEL GRAPPA AND PEAR. Bastardo del Grappa is a traditional cheese from Veneto, I like using quality Italian cheeses. It has this particular name because it is an intermediate processing between Asiago Pressato and Asiago d’Allevo. It has an intense, pleasant taste, and never spicy, perfect to use with some types of fruit, like pippin apples, pear, and berries.

Great on crostini for fresh and slightly alternative combinations. Perfect as an aperitif or appetizer, to enjoy with friends, or unexpected guests. Quick and very easy to prepare, everyone will like them, they are really very tasty. I really love appetizers, I hope to be able to offer you a variety. Here, besides pear, I used ham and salad, but there can be many variations, experiment
