Salmon and Arugula Pinwheels

They are appetizers with sandwich bread that we can fill with cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables…. Pinwheels are simple to prepare and economical, with few ingredients and in a few steps, they allow us to serve delightful delicacies.

The salmon and arugula pinwheels are perfect for a standing dinner or an aperitif.

Ingredients

LET’S SEE TOGETHER WHAT WE NEED TO PREPARE

  • 2 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 7 oz smoked salmon
  • to taste arugula
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

  • 1 Rolling pin
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife

Steps

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start preparing the salmon and arugula pinwheels: place the slices of sandwich bread on a cutting board and roll them out with the rolling pin to enlarge and compact them.

    Spread the cream cheese evenly on top.

    Place the slices of salmon and arugula on top of the cheese.

  • Now starting from one of the shorter sides of the rectangle, roll it up and then wrap it with cling film.

    Let it rest in the fridge for 10 minutes

    After resting in the fridge for ten minutes, cut the roll into slices and our salmon and arugula pinwheels are ready!
