Cups with Coffee Cream and Amaretti

Father’s Day is approaching, and if you love coffee, today I propose an easy and quick idea, as well as delicious, to celebrate it. It is a no-bake dessert with coffee cream and amaretti. You only need a few ingredients to prepare these very easy and quick single-serving cups, ideal for any special occasion and holiday, a last-minute dessert for unexpected guests, or as a chic and refined end to a meal, dessert buffet. The amaretti perfectly complement the aroma and taste of coffee, creating a very pleasant creamy and crunchy texture.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz fresh cream cheese (also lactose-free)
  • 3.5 oz amaretti
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 3 g instant coffee

Steps

I used glass coffee cups with a capacity of 2.4 oz; you can use any type of single-serving cups you like, bearing in mind that the quantities of the ingredients are based on the size of the cups I used, as shown in the photo.

For each individual cup calculated: 1.2 oz of coffee cream and amaretti and 5 crumbled amaretti; obviously, these are purely indicative doses, depending on the cups or glasses you will use.

Let’s prepare the cream. In a bowl, put the cream cheese, instant coffee powder, and powdered sugar. Mix very well with a fork until you get a smooth mixture; taste to adjust the sweetness of the cream if necessary.

Coarsely crumble the amaretti in a small bowl and add dark chocolate chips, depending on the guests’ taste, and mix.

Now let’s assemble the dessert. At the bottom of each cup, place two teaspoons of the crumbled amaretti mix (about 2 amaretti, for the cups I used) with chocolate chips, two teaspoons of coffee cream, and top with the crumbled amaretti mix (for the top of the cup, which is wider than the base, I used 3 crumbled amaretti).

Since the cups with coffee cream and amaretti are very quick to make, I recommend preparing the cream and the crumbled amaretti and chocolate mix in advance and assembling them just before serving, to prevent the crumbled amaretti from becoming too soft due to the moisture released by the cream.

That’s it; the coffee cream and amaretti cups are ready to serve.
