Ingredients for White Chocolate Salami
- 7 oz white chocolate
- 10.5 oz Digestive cookies (or plain)
- 1/3 cup pistachio crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 5 oz butter
- 2 eggs
- 2.5 tbsps powdered sugar
Preparation of White Chocolate and Pistachio Salami
Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. As soon as it’s melted, remove from heat and let cool.
In a bowl, crumble the cookies coarsely.
Meanwhile, in another bowl, cream the butter with an electric mixer. Then, add the sugar and continue whisking.
Next, add one egg at a time, always whisking with the electric mixer, until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous cream.
Pour the melted chocolate into the cream and mix well with a spatula. Also, add the crumbled cookies and knead everything together.
Place the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper and form a cylinder with the spatula. Roll it up in the paper and seal the ends well.
Place the white chocolate and pistachio salami on a tray and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight.
After the resting time, remove the parchment paper and sprinkle the chocolate salami with powdered sugar. Serve sliced thick.
