  • 3.5 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Steps

Let’s start preparing the

  • Let’s start preparing the candied oranges, wash the oranges very well under running water, scrubbing the peel then dry them and remove both ends. Then with a knife on a cutting board, cut them into slices about quarter of an inch thick.

    Brush each orange slice with butter previously melted in a bain-marie then dip them in granulated sugar.

    CARAMELIZED ORANGES

Heat the pan well and place the orange slices without any seasoning.

Turn them often on both sides. Gradually, they will start to lose some of their juice. They will be ready when most of this juice has been absorbed.

Remove the caramelized oranges from the pan and arrange them on a serving plate.
