Two-Ingredient Chocolate Cakes: The Delicious No-Bake Dessert, Super Easy and Quick!

If you’re craving a delicious guilt-free dessert, the two-ingredient chocolate cakes are perfect.

This is a recipe that has gone viral online due to its incredible simplicity and naturalness: a cake without flour, eggs, sugar, butter, baking powder, and much more, but only fruit and chocolate.

Because making a cake without flour, butter, or eggs is indeed possible! With just two ingredients – apples and dark chocolate – you can create this amazing and striking dessert. Simply cook the apples slightly to soften them, then blend them together with melted chocolate. Once you have a smooth mixture, pour it into molds and let it set in the fridge. In no time, you’ll have delicious cakes ready to enjoy!

But the wonders of this recipe don’t end there. You can customize it to your liking! You can replace apples with other types of fruit, like bananas or pears, to create unique and original flavors.

If you’re a sweet tooth like me, you can also enhance them with a pinch of cinnamon in the mixture and garnish with a little unsweetened cocoa and chopped pistachios.

Ready to enjoy this wonder? Perfect to serve at a special lunch or dinner, either in individual portions or as a cake.

Ingredients for Two-Ingredient Chocolate Cakes

  • 2 apples
  • 7 oz dark chocolate
  • 3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 oz chopped pistachios

Preparation of Two-Ingredient Chocolate Cakes

  • Wash and peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into chunks.

Cook the apple pieces for 5 minutes in boiling water. Drain them very well and transfer them to the mixer bowl.

Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Then, pour it into the mixer. If desired, you can add a pinch of cinnamon, but it’s optional.

Blend the apples and chocolate until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.

Now, pour the mixture into three molds (4-inch diameter), lightly moistened with a little water. Level the surface well.

Place the cakes in the fridge for 4 hours to set. You can also prepare them the day before and let them rest in the fridge overnight.

  • After the resting time, take the chocolate cakes out of the fridge and remove them from the molds. Place them on a tray or individual plates.

You can also present your cakes with a decoration of unsweetened cocoa and chopped pistachios.

Storage

The chocolate cakes can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days, covered with aluminum foil.
