Homemade Stock Cube Portions

in

Today I want to share with you a trick that will make your life in the kitchen much simpler: homemade stock cube portions.
After making homemade stock cubes, whether with the Bimby or without, we often have to store them in a practical and functional way. That’s why I’m suggesting a method that will make your life easier: freezing the stock in portions using a silicone chocolate mold.
The process is very simple: once you’ve prepared the homemade stock, pour it into the compartments of the chocolate mold. Place the mold in the freezer and let the stock solidify. Once ready, you can unmold the portions and store them in a container or a food bag, so you’ll always have them on hand when you need them.
Homemade stock cube portions will prove extremely convenient and practical in the kitchen. You can use them whenever you need an extra touch of flavor in your dishes. Just take one portion from the container and dissolve it directly in the pot, or use it as a seasoning without having to handle the whole stock cube in the jar or defrost it before use.
Furthermore, freezing the stock in portions will help you avoid waste. Often we only need a small amount of stock, and the rest can spoil in the fridge. With portions, this will no longer happen, as you can use exactly the amount of stock needed for each preparation.
So, what are you waiting for? Prepare your homemade stock and try the trick of freezing portions right away. You’ll see how much it simplifies your life in the kitchen, and you won’t be able to do without it anymore!
I hope this tip was helpful, and if you have other tricks to share, feel free to do so in the comments. Enjoy your meal and happy cooking to everyone!

In the video, I show how to turn Bimby stock into convenient single servings, perfect for daily use. I use a silicone chocolate mold, where I pour the freshly prepared Bimby stock. After filling the molds, I place them in the freezer overnight, ensuring they solidify perfectly. Once frozen, I unmold the single servings and store them in a glass jar. Alternatively, they can also be stored in freezer bags for more convenience. This technique is ideal for those who want to have ready-to-use portions at hand, maintaining the freshness and flavor of homemade stock.
