Tips
Make sure to use the freshest and ripest strawberries for an intense and sweet flavor. The type of champagne you choose will influence the final taste of the dish, so opt for a quality wine. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, you can replace the champagne with apple juice for a fruity touch.
The strawberries can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for a few hours.
The strawberry and champagne risotto is also delicious if not piping hot, so it’s enjoyable even on warm summer evenings.
If champagne or prosecco is not available, they can be easily replaced with a good white wine.
STORAGE AND FUTURE USE
Strawberry risotto doesn’t lend itself to being combined with other preparations, so it’s best to cook the right amount.
If there are leftover strawberries, they can be served as a dessert, immersed in red wine and sugar. They are delicious!
