Ingredients for Puff Pastry Muffins with Strawberries
- 2 rolls puff pastry
- 3 tbsps strawberry jam
- 8 strawberries
- 0.35 oz powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds
- to taste butter
- 1 egg yolk
Preparation of Puff Pastry Muffins with Strawberries
Roll out a sheet of puff pastry and spread the surface with strawberry jam.
Then, add the chopped strawberries.
Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry, pressing the edges well. Then, cut into strips, about 2 fingers wide (you should get 12 strips).
Now, twist each strip on itself and place them in muffin molds, previously greased with a little butter. Brush the puff pastry muffins with the egg yolk and sprinkle the sliced almonds on top of each one.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
After the cooking time, take out the puff pastry muffins with strawberries and let them cool on a wire rack.
Before serving, dust the muffins with powdered sugar.
