Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup sunflower oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 grated lemon zest

Steps
1. Separate the egg yolks from the whites and whisk the egg whites until stiff, then set aside.
2. In the bowl with the yolks, add the sugar and mix well with a mixer to incorporate both ingredients.
3. Gradually add the flour little by little, the oil, the water, the grated lemon zest, and the baking powder.
4. Finally, incorporate the egg whites with the help of a spatula, working from the bottom upwards.
5. When the batter is creamy and free of lumps, transfer it into a previously buttered and floured bundt pan.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes.
7. When the cake is ready and baked, always do the toothpick test, remove from the oven and let it cool down.
8. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
