Breakfast Pancakes for My Girls.

This morning I woke up early and since I don’t have to go out (no school and working from home), I made PANCAKES for my girls’ breakfast. They are real sweet tooths!!!

They wanted to try them with jam, Nutella, honey… and then they told me: “we had to figure out which ones were better”.. it seemed like a feast, they stayed at the table for more than half an hour 🤦‍♀️

And anyway (unsurprisingly) they preferred chocolate, but they also liked the others a lot.

And how do you like them? If you want, let me know after the recipe 😉

  • Cost: Very economical
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 10
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder (half a packet)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups milk

Tools

  • 1 Whisk

Or you can use a kitchen robot.

Steps

  • Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with the whisk until a thick, lump-free batter forms, then let it rest for 5 minutes.

Or you can use a kitchen robot and let it rest inside.

Pour a ladle of batter into the center of a non-stick pan lightly greased with a little butter and let it cook for a few seconds. When bubbles start to form on the surface, flip it over and cook the other side.

Continue to cook the batter until it’s all used up (with these ingredients I made 10).

You can enjoy them with honey, maple syrup, jam, Nutella, fruit, or anything else you like.
