The puff pastry twists with olive pâté are a delicious appetizer. Very simple and quick to prepare. It consists of puff pastry filled with pâté and rolled. You can use the same method and fill them however you like. For example, with ham and stracchino cheese ( click here to see the preparation steps) or with a sweet filling (jam, hazelnut cream..)

Preparation
Let’s prepare the Puff Pastry Twists with Olive Pâté. As always, I recommend preparing the ingredients before proceeding with the execution. In this case, you simply need: 2 rolls of puff pastry, olive pâté, and one egg yolk. Another small tip is to gently roll out the pastry with a rolling pin before using it in the preparation. This way, it will puff up more during baking.
Open the first roll of puff pastry and cover the entire surface with olive pâté. Leave about 0.4 inches from the edge to prevent the pâté from spilling out.
Cover with the second roll of puff pastry and lightly press the edges to seal the pastry.
Cut plenty of strips about 0.4 inches wide, then cut in half lengthwise. If you want to make fewer and longer ones, you can skip this second step.
Take the individual strips and twist them slightly. When placing them on the baking tray, apply slight pressure at the ends to prevent them from unraveling.
Beat an egg yolk with a pinch of salt and brush the surface of the Puff Pastry Twists with Olive Pâté with it.
Proceed with baking in a preheated static oven for 10 minutes at 356°F.
After baking, let them rest for a couple of minutes. The twists will detach from the tray on their own and will be ready to be served.
