How to Make Raspberry and Lemon Iced Tea
In a pot, pour the cold water and brown sugar. Mix with the whisk until the sugar has dissolved and the water turns brown.
Place the pot on the heat and turn on the stove to heat the solution until it boils.
At this point, turn off the heat and remove the pot from the stove. Place the black tea bags into the hot solution.
Next, add the lemon syrup.
Then, add the frozen raspberries.
Cover the pot with the lid and let the infusion sit for 3 to 5 minutes.
After that, uncover and remove the tea bags, discarding them.
Cover the beverage again and let it sit until completely cooled.
Transfer the iced tea to a pitcher or the chosen storage bottle and put it in the refrigerator until it reaches the ideal temperature and until the moment of serving.
Wash the lemon thoroughly (remember to choose a fruit with an edible or consumable peel). Slice it into thin slices with a very sharp chef’s knife.
Serve the raspberry and lemon tea with plenty of ice, dividing it into the chosen glasses.
Garnish with a few lemon slices and some fresh raspberries.
In the iced tea, the raspberries can be replaced with another berry or a mix of them. If you can’t find the desired raspberries or berries already frozen, I recommend buying them fresh and putting them in the freezer for a few hours before using them in the recipe: it won’t be exactly the same, as freezing and refrigerating are two methods that mainly differ because the first occurs in an industrial and controlled way and the second, domestically, but the result will still be excellent!
