Barbapapa Beetroot Hummus or rather Barbabella Hummus.
I don’t know if you’re familiar with the children’s book series called Barbapapa. I discovered it in the 2000s in Italy, watching it with my daughter.
Barbapapa is the name of the protagonist of the series, peculiar pear-shaped beings of different colors who have the ability to shape-shift and solve problems with a ‘barbatrick’.
Among the protagonists of this series is also Barbabella (Barbabelle), who is purple. She is the beauty of the family: loves jewelry and perfumes and hates insects. She was my daughter’s favorite.
And here we are with the recipe, made with a ‘barbatrick’: Barbapapa Beetroot Hummus, a colorful dish, sweet with a bold beetroot flavor, eh wow it’s good!
