Golden milk or golden latte original recipe, a spicy-flavored beverage that seems to offer many health benefits.
The protagonist of this recipe is turmeric which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and helps reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.
To discover the benefits and contraindications of this spice, I refer you to an in-depth article by Humanitas Hospital Research.
Turmeric has a strong flavor reminiscent of ginger, a bright yellow color like gold, which inspired the name of this milk.
My recipe includes the preparation of “turmeric paste,” a very dense batter obtained by mixing turmeric, water, and pepper.
Pepper is added to the “turmeric paste” because the piperine it contains improves the absorption of curcumin.
Anyway, without further ado, let’s prepare the Golden Milk or Golden Latte original recipe, and wow, it’s delicious!
