Honey Deuce cocktail: the original recipe. Today I present to you the official cocktail of the US Open Tennis Championships.
I love playing tennis and watching matches. This passion of mine was born many years ago, when McEnroe, Borg, and Martina Navratilova were playing, a passion that I passed on to my daughter.
This year I did something crazy and went to New York to watch the US Open and fell in love with what has been the tournament’s official drink for almost two decades.
A blend of Grey Goose vodka, lemonade, and raspberry liqueur.
The Honey Deuce is named after the 40-40 score, known as “deuce” in tennis.
The cocktail is traditionally garnished with green melon balls, reminiscent of tennis balls.
There’s also a frozen version of the cocktail, where lemonade and ice cubes are replaced with lemon granita.
I confess that I don’t normally drink cocktails, but recreating it at home helped prolong the memories of those carefree days with my family.
So let’s cut to the chase and prepare this Honey Deuce cocktail together: the original recipe. Oh wow, it’s delicious!
