Potato Croquettes or Sandwich Base

Potato croquettes or sandwich base are a delicious option for a snack or side dish, easily made with just a few simple ingredients.

To prepare them, start by boiling the potatoes until they’re soft. Once cooked, mash them and mix with cornmeal, which gives a crunchy texture and a slightly sweet flavor.

Add salt, pepper, or paprika, and if you wish, herbs for a hint of freshness.

Shape small croquettes with the mixture and bake in a hot oven until golden.

These croquettes are not only delicious on their own but can also serve as a sandwich base. Just place between two croquettes a filling of grilled vegetables, cheese, and cured ham for a tasty and creative meal.

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s make these potato croquettes or sandwich base together.
Oh boy, they are good!
