These Air Fryer Flatbread Rolls, cooked in an Air Fryer saved my dinner: easy, quick, and tasty. A perfect idea for an appetizer or buffet, or simply for lunch when you don’t feel like cooking. Just fill the flatbread with your choice of grilled vegetables, cheeses, and cold cuts, slice it, and cook in the air fryer for a few minutes.
For this recipe, I used what I had on hand: cooked ham, sliced cheese, and tomatoes seasoned with oil, salt, pepper, and oregano. To make the Air Fryer Flatbread Rolls more delicious, I was inspired by a lighter version of my recipe for Italian Croque Monsieur. However, not having much time available, I replaced the béchamel with cooking cream, using it both as a filling for the flatbread and as a base for the baking dish I used for cooking the rolls. But, if you prefer and have time, you can prepare the béchamel or use ready-made to save time.
You can also prepare delicious snacks with flatbread, have you tried them?? I make them often, and they’re a hit.
But now, let’s prepare these delicious Air Fryer Flatbread Rolls!
