Today I propose a recipe to use up leftover egg whites: Pizza Clouds, cooked in an Air Fryer. Delicious egg white omelets filled like mini pizzas.
Egg whites have many nutritional properties, they are rich in proteins and vitamins, a low-calorie and very versatile food in the kitchen, ideal for those who practice sports. In many recipes, only yolks are used, but with leftover egg whites, we can prepare many recipes, often used for making desserts like these Coconut Bonbons and Nutella Muffins, but they are also perfect for savory dishes like these Savory Muffins in Air Fryer.
Pizza clouds are easy to make, they are topped like classic mini pizzas and cooked in an air fryer in just a few minutes. You can serve pizza clouds as an appetizer or as a second course by enriching the topping with tomato sauce, oregano, and mozzarella, with some anchovies.
Now let’s prepare these pizza clouds!

Steps
In a bowl, pour the egg whites with a pinch of salt
Start whisking them with an electric whisk
When semi-whipped, add the flour and continue until they are firm
Grease a baking tray for cooking. Scoop some of the whipped mixture with a spoon, flattening it with the back on the tray to form clouds
Cook at 356°F for 5 minutes
Remove the tray and top each cloud with tomato sauce, previously seasoned with oil and salt. Add cheese or mozzarella, julienned
Put the tray back in the fryer and continue for another 2 minutes at 356°F, just enough time to melt the cheese
Here they are ready! Serve them hot
Variations of Pizza Clouds
You can add oregano or spices of your choice to the tomato sauce and replace the cheese with mozzarella.
