Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 1/2 tbsp water (approximately)
- 1 knob salted butter
Tools
- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Cookie Cutter small and round
- 1 Fork
- 1 Brush silicone
- 1 Food Processor
Steps
Sift the flour and yeast into a bowl
Transfer them to the food processor or a bowl along with the sugar and salt. Add the cold butter in pieces and work quickly to obtain a sandy mixture.
Pour into a bowl, add the oil and water
Knead with your hands to obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After the resting time, roll out the dough to 1/10 inch thickness using two sheets of parchment paper. Use a cutter, I used a cookie cutter, to make discs, prick them with a fork or a toothpick
Place them directly on the grid of your air fryer, or on the tray if you have an oven-style air fryer, and cook at 392°F for 10 minutes on air fry program. While the crackers are cooking, melt the salted butter
As soon as they are ready, brush the top of the crackers with the salted butter.
They will disappear in no time!
You can bake the crackers in a preheated oven at 392°F for 10 minutes or until golden
