Carasau Bread Cannelloni in Air Fryer are an original and tasty way to use this particular bread, as a substitute for classic cannelloni. Carasau Bread is a typical Sardinian bread made from durum wheat semolina, a bread with very ancient origins, its preparation was a real family ritual. Thanks to its consistency, a very thin and crispy sheet, Carasau Bread is suitable for various preparations in the kitchen, not only to be consumed as a bread substitute. You can also prepare snacks like Guttiau Bread in Air Fryer and different versions of lasagna such as the Carasau Lasagna with Artichokes and Ricotta, delicate and good, which I recommend trying and perfect for Easter lunch.
To prepare the carasau bread cannelloni, you need to soften the bread with water to make it pliable, fill it with ragù, and cover it with béchamel and cheese to create the classic crust on the surface. Come with me to prepare them!

Steps
How to prepare Carasau Bread Cannelloni in an air fryer
For the preparation of the béchamel and ragù, follow the steps with the doses I indicated above for the Carasau Lasagna with Ragù in Air Fryer, the only difference is that the soffritto is frozen in this case.
Béchamel and ragù ready
Briefly wet the bread with water
Let it rest for a couple of minutes and divide the sheet in half
Add the ragù in the center, I also added a bit of grated Parmesan
Roll up the bread sheet
Repeat the sequence with all the bread sheets until the ingredients are used up
Cover the base of the dish you will use for cooking in the fryer with a generous layer of béchamel. Place the carasau cannelloni on top with the seam side down
Now you can cover the cannelloni with béchamel and grated Parmesan
Insert the dish
Cook at 340°F for 10 minutes, then at 355°F for 8 minutes or until the surface is golden brown
Carasau bread cannelloni are ready to be served!
