These rolls are super tasty! Quick to prepare and cook thanks to air frying. The peculiarity, besides the cooking method that doesn’t require traditional frying, is that they are made without the use of sandwich or white bread that wraps the ham and cheese; they are directly passed into beaten egg and breadcrumbs. Ideal for an aperitif, but also an original snack for a buffet.
I used sliced boiled ham and a soft Sardinian cheese that you can replace with stringy cheese, but if you want something with a more pronounced flavor like the one I used, fontina cheese is perfect. Crunchy and stringy… I’m sure they will be a success!!
