I hadn’t yet published one of the most classic and beloved desserts: the Jam Tart, cooked in an Air Fryer: fragrant, crumbly, perfect for breakfast or as a dessert after dinner.
The tart is one of those desserts that needs no introduction, it’s a scent that smells like home, butter, sugar, jam that melts sweetly: just one bite makes you feel immediately welcomed and cherished. The Air Fryer makes everything possible in no time, ready while you prepare the coffee or when you’re chatting with loved ones. But if you choose to use the oven, I’ll leave you the cooking times and temperatures at the end of the recipe.
The Jam Tart, like the one with Nutella, is perfect to offer to your children as a snack for school or for the afternoon break, accompanied by juice or fruit drink.

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)

Steps
How to prepare the tart
Generously spread the jam flavor you have chosen, without skimping
Decorate the tart with the remaining dough, you can create the classic strips or cut it after rolling it out and shape them as you like. I made some strips and stars
Preheat for 2/3 minutes at 340°F (bake program) and bake at 340°F for 25 minutes. If it darkens on the surface, cover with foil and continue cooking or lower by 10°F and proceed
Let it cool completely: the shortcrust will become irresistibly crumbly
This jam tart in air fryer is a little big gift to give yourself whenever you want: after a long day, on a slow Sunday, or when you need something that feels like home. For an extra touch, dust the surface with powdered sugar
