Lasagna Roses in Air Fryer are a unique first course, with a crispy surface and a softer, creamier base. I thought of stuffing these with cooked ham, cheese, and artichokes, all covered with béchamel sauce. I blanched the artichokes in water and vinegar, leaving them slightly crunchy, simply seasoned with olive oil, parsley, and salt, to get closer to the taste of those in oil, so if you don’t have time to prepare them, you can use the jarred ones. I used thin, fresh lasagna sheets and sliced gouda cheese, which you can replace with mild provola.
Lasagna Roses are a nice idea to bring to the table on festive days, special occasions, or for Sunday lunch, a great alternative to the classic dish we are used to. You can also prepare Lasagna Bundles in the air fryer with lasagna.
Now I’ll explain how to prepare them…

Steps
How to prepare Lasagna Roses in Air Fryer
Start by cleaning the artichokes, cut off the spines and remove the outer leaves, the tougher ones
Remove the choke and as you prepare them, put them in a bowl with water and lemon to prevent them from turning black
After cleaning them, cut them into thin slices
Rinse them under running water and in a small pot, bring water and vinegar to a boil
Cook the artichokes for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Test with the tines of a fork; the heart should be soft but not too much
Drain them, pour them into a bowl and season with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and parsley
For the preparation of béchamel sauce, follow the steps in the Lasagna with Mushrooms and Sausage in Air Fryer recipe, and once cooking is complete, add a tablespoon of grated Parmesan
On a work surface, take the lasagna sheet and fill it with 1 or 2 slices of cooked ham, 1 slice of cheese, and finish with the artichokes
Roll the lasagna sheet from the long side and continue until all the sheets are finished
Cover the base of the baking dish with béchamel sauce and start cutting the lasagna rolls.
Place the roses inside the baking dish with the cut side facing up.
Once finished and filled the baking dish with the rolls, cover with béchamel and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Place the baking dish in the Air Fryer and cook at 320°F for 15 minutes
Take the Lasagna Roses out of the oven
Serve them hot and….enjoy your meal
