The Puff Pastry Pizza in an Air Fryer is a really practical, quick, and absolutely tasty recipe. I always keep a stock of puff pastry in the fridge, I like to use it for many preparations and always experiment with new things, and it lends itself to both sweet and savory preparations…like these delicious Puff Pastry Donuts with figs, walnut pieces, and chocolate chips and the Puff Pastry Crown in Air Fryer that can also be filled with Nutella.
But let’s talk about the puff pastry pizza… just one roll of puff pastry, rectangular or round, some tomato pulp or puree, cheese or mozzarella, I added some anchovies to make it tastier, and in just a few minutes you’ll have a really delicious “fake pizza.” Let’s go see how to prepare the Puff Pastry Pizza

- to taste salt
- 5 fillets anchovies in oil
Tools
- 1 Air fryer
- 1 Grater
Steps
Unroll the puff pastry roll and place it in a pan, either round or rectangular depending on the shape you have chosen. Prepare the tomato pulp or puree in a bowl, with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Fold the edges inward
Bake at 347°F for 11 minutes or until the edges of the puff pastry start to turn golden
Meanwhile, grate the cheese into julienne strips
Optionally add the anchovy fillets, if they are large break them apart, on the puff pastry
Sprinkle the puff pastry with grated cheese and put it back in the fryer for another 8 minutes, the time to melt the cheese well and finish cooking the pastry
Serve it hot, it’s delicious!!
I recommend removing the parchment paper from the puff pastry to avoid having to extend the cooking time or not cooking the bottom part of the pastry
