Today I’m sharing with you an incredibly easy, yet delicious and enticing recipe: the Savory 7-Jar Pound Cake in Air Fryer, a savory cake versatile and super tasty with which we can get creative with whatever we have in the fridge and prefer: cold cuts, cheeses, pickles, and vegetables, a perfect recipe to empty the fridge!
What I absolutely love is that to measure the ingredients you only need the yogurt jar and everything is mixed in a bowl with a whisk or a spoon, making the preparation very simple and quick.

Ingredients
Ingredients for a 9×4 in pound cake mold
- 2 jars all-purpose flour
- 1 jar cornstarch
- 1 jar plain yogurt
- 1 jar vegetable oil (corn or sunflower)
- 1 jar milk
- 1 jar Grana Padano cheese, grated
- 1 packet instant yeast for savory dishes
- 6 g salt
- to taste pepper
- 3 eggs (medium)
- 6 oz cheese (latteria or fontal)
- 2.5 oz pitted olives
- 3 oz cooked ham (sliced or diced)
- 1.75 oz salami (sliced)
- 5.5 oz tuna in oil
- to taste breadcrumbs (to line the mold and sprinkle on top)
- to taste Grana Padano cheese, grated (to sprinkle on top)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil

- 1 Air Fryer
- 1 Pound cake mold 9×4 in
- 1 Hand whisk
- 1 Knife
- 1 Cutting board
- 2 Bowls
Steps
How to prepare the Savory 7-Jar Pound Cake in Air Fryer
Pour the yogurt into a bowl, wash and dry the jar that will be used to measure the ingredients
Add to the yogurt 2 jars of flour, 1 jar of cornstarch and 1 packet of sifted yeast, 1 jar of vegetable oil, 1 jar of milk, the salt and mix with a hand whisk
Add 1 jar of grated Grana Padano and mix again
Add 3 eggs to the mixture obtained
Keep mixing with a whisk until you get a smooth mixture
Add all the ingredients you will use to fill the pound cake
Mix with the whisk or a spoon
Butter the mold and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs
Pour the mixture, level it and sprinkle the surface with breadcrumbs and grated Grana. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil
Preheat the fryer on bake or air fry setting for 2/3 minutes at 338°F, place the mold on the rack and bake the pound cake at 338°F for 33 minutes
Check with a toothpick; if it’s not dry, continue for a few more minutes. Once ready, wait for it to cool slightly before removing it from the mold

Storage and Variations of the Savory 7-Jar Pound Cake
The Pound Cake keeps well in a plate covered with plastic wrap for a few days. If it’s very hot, store it in the fridge, then heat it always in the fryer for a few minutes. The Pound Cake is also delicious at room temperature.
If you don’t have a pound cake mold or one that fits your air fryer, you can use any excess batter to make muffins or use a 9-inch ring mold.
Oven Baking of the Savory 7-Jar Pound Cake
For oven baking, preheat and bake at 356°F for 35 minutes, always doing the toothpick test.
