Preparation of Almond Cookies with Red Wine
To prepare these cookies, start by toasting the nuts in the oven with the grill function for about 5 minutes, turning them well during cooking.
In the mixer bowl with the paddle attachment or in a bowl by hand, pour the wine, oil, and sugar, mix well, set speed 2 for a few minutes, add the sifted flour and cocoa, baking powder, and mix again.Take the toasted nuts from the oven, chop them coarsely with a blade processor, leave some whole aside for final decoration. Once chopped, add them with the other ingredients, mix and blend well.
You should obtain a soft and slightly sticky dough.Take small pieces of dough, use flour to dust or grease your hands with oil to work the cookies well, then roll the dough forming a stick about 3 inches long. Pass them in granulated sugar and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Once you have finished preparing all the cookies, put the tray in the preheated oven.
Bake the almond cookies with red wine in a ventilated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
As soon as they are golden, they are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool before serving. For more cookie recipes click here
