Apple slices with cocoa batter and white chocolate are delicious, aromatic fritters with cinnamon and unsweetened cocoa flavor, so good that one leads to another. A typical Italian recipe that I’ve revisited by adding unsweetened cocoa and cinnamon to the batter, a combination of flavors I love and that remind me of Christmas, and why not, so juicy, soft, and fragrant they’re perfect as a Christmas dessert too!
The battered apple slices can be prepared in no time, can be baked or fried in a pan, and are excellent for a dessert or snack. They can be simply dusted with powdered sugar or granulated sugar, but if you prefer an extra touch of indulgence and elegance, decorate them with white chocolate and sprinkles; they are really cute!
They are also perfect during Carnival time, along with many other fried treats decorated with colorful sprinkles.
