Fresh Pomegranate Juice

Fresh pomegranate juice is a refreshing natural autumn drink, very rich in vitamin C and many other important properties for our body.
Pomegranate juice is obtained by cold pressing this delicious fruit picked during the autumn season. For a good glass of juice rich in nutrients, you need to press very red and ripe fruits and consume it immediately, so you can enjoy a delicious and healthy pure and homemade pomegranate juice.
It is possible to buy it ready-made in stores, but it will not be as pure and fresh as homemade juice.
Pomegranate is a fruit that everyone in my house adores, but I find it annoying to peel and enjoy the delicious seeds, also because if you’re not careful, the juice splashes, leaving annoying stains that don’t come off easily.
So I prefer a nice juice that’s much easier to make and enjoy.
For the preparation of the juice, you need some beautiful ripe pomegranates with an intense red color and a citrus juicer.
Some also use an extractor or a juicer, but I avoided it because of the too many seeds, I was afraid of damaging this appliance.
If you want a good pure glass of juice, without colorings, preservatives, and without sugars, get the fruits and take advantage of the season to fill up on all the benefits they contain.

  • You will notice that the juice flows while the seeds and part of the white skin remain attached to the container. In a few minutes with 4 large pomegranates, you have obtained about 2 glasses of excellent pomegranate juice to sip fresh. If any residue passes through, use a strainer to filter it.

If the juice turns out to be bitter, perhaps the pomegranate was not fully ripe yet, possibly add 1 teaspoon of sugar.
If you don’t drink it all, to prevent oxidation, add a little lemon juice.
Here you have fresh and natural pomegranate juice ready, a real boon for our health!
