First pour the oatmeal and then all the other ingredients gradually.Mix everything well, it should result in a slightly sticky dough. With your hands, take small balls of dough, give them a rounded shape, and place them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
Slightly flatten the dough to shape classic shortbread, then transfer the tray to the oven.
Bake the oatmeal and dried fruit cookies in the preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) with a fan for about 15 minutes. For baking, adjust according to the power of your oven. Sometimes it takes a few minutes more or less.
Remove the cookies from the oven when they are golden brown on the surface.
Place them on a wire rack and let them cool before serving.
