Preparation for Puff Pastry Roses with Salmon and Cheese
Roll out the puff pastry, better if it’s rectangular, I had a round one, and I made even smaller roses.
Spread the creamy cheese well at the base with a spoon; I used Philadelphia.Cut many strips of about 1.2 inches each, place small pieces of smoked salmon, a little distance from each other, slightly protruding from the upper edge.
Roll each strip to form a little rose. Place the puff pastry roses on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or if you have paper or aluminum cups.
Bake the puff pastry roses with salmon and cheese in a fan oven for the first 5 minutes at 392°F, then continue the temperature for another 15 minutes at 356°F.
Remove from the oven when they are golden brown and serve.
