- 1 egg (small)
- to taste powdered sugar
- 5 black cherries in syrup

Steps for Puff Pastry Swirls with Raspberry and Black Cherry Jam
Open the roll of puff pastry, use a pizza cutter to cut 5 strips along the longer side.
Fill each strip with raspberry jam, placing it with a teaspoon in the center of the strip along its length.
Close the edges of the strip to form a long cylinder and then roll it into a swirl, snail-shaped!
Place the swirls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush the surface with a beaten egg, if desired, you can decorate with some colored sprinkles.
Bake the swirls on the second rack in a preheated ventilated oven at 392°F for about 15 minutes, then lower the temperature to 356°F and continue baking for another 10 minutes.
When they are nicely golden, remove them from the oven and let them cool down, sprinkle with powdered sugar and then garnish with black cherries in syrup.
