Puff pastry treats for Epiphany are delicious and quick little pastries to fill the Epiphany stocking: socks, brooms, hats, candies, very simple but delightful and crispy.
Children always expect a small gift, and among little toys, candies, and chocolates, I also recommend a small, simple, and quick homemade treat.
If you have time, you can make different pastries, but if you’re busy, this is the ideal solution. Just buy a roll of puff pastry and create the shapes you like best, and in no time, you’ll have these treats filled with Nutella or jam, really tasty and they disappear quickly!

Ingredients for Puff Pastry Treats
- 1 Roll of puff pastry
- to taste Nutella
- to taste Jam or Preserves
- to taste Colored sprinkles
- to taste Powdered sugar
Tools
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 parchment paper
- 1 pizza cutter
- 1 oven
Preparation
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface or covered with parchment paper.
If you have cookie cutters, use them and cut out the pastry, otherwise, with the help of a pizza cutter or a good sharp knife, manually cut the shapes you like best.I prepared candies, brooms, hats, socks, and manually cut them, filling the inside with either jam or Nutella.
Cut the puff pastry into small rectangles, fill to your liking, then roll, and twist the final corners for the candies.
For the brooms, make triangles, fill and cover, then cut into small strips. With the leftovers, roll and make the handle, otherwise substitute with a wooden skewer or breadstick.
Same for the hats, make the shapes, fill, cover, and decorate to your liking, fixing colored sprinkles on each shape.Once ready, place them on a baking tray with parchment paper.
Bake the treats in a preheated oven for the first 10 minutes at 392°F and then lower to 338°F.
The puff pastry treats are ready when they are puffed and nicely golden.
Let them cool, dust with powdered sugar, then pack and fill your stocking with other treats as you like.
Notes
The puff pastry treats for Epiphany can also be made with shortcrust pastry. You can also decorate with glaze and much more to your liking.
These treats can also be made in a savory version filled with creamy cheese.
What if I don’t have puff pastry?
You can use shortcrust pastry or brisee pastry. You can also fill them with cheese.
