Grandma’s Orange Cake.
Tall, very soft, delicious.
Grandma’s orange cake is made with a few simple ingredients found in all pantries, it is a genuine dessert, as soft as a cloud, fragrant, and very delicious.
This recipe is also uniquely simple, it can be prepared in no time and will be a joy for both adults and children.
Moreover, it is a perfect dessert for those who are intolerant because it does not contain butter and milk, excellent for those who cannot consume these foods.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs (large)
- Juice of 2 large oranges
- Grated zest of 2 oranges
- 1 1/4 cups sugar (3/4 cup for a less sweet version)
- 3/4 cups corn oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (1 packet)

Steps
Preheat the oven to 320°F.
Butter a 9.5-inch springform pan.
Mix the flour with the sifted baking powder.
In a stand mixer or a large bowl with electric beaters, beat the eggs with the sugar.
Once the eggs are fluffy and foamy, add the pinch of salt, the orange zest, juice, and oil, mix, add the flour with the baking powder little by little, beat well until everything is homogeneous.
Pour the batter into the buttered pan.
Bake at 320°F on the lower middle rack of the oven (just above the base) for about 50 minutes, check at the end with a skewer, it should come out dry.
Let it cool and then place the cake on a platter, if you prefer you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

Add the pinch of salt, orange zest, juice, and oil, 30 sec.speed 3.
Add the flour with the baking powder little by little through the hole in the lid with the blades moving at speed 1.
Once all the flour has been added, scrape down the sides to the center and work for another 30 secspeed 3.
Pour the batter into the buttered pan.
