Grilled chicken, with my mom’s special marinade.
Simple, quick, delicious.
Grilled chicken breast is one of the simplest, lightest, and tastiest recipes, thanks to my mom’s special marinade that makes the chicken tender, juicy, and very flavorful. A perfect second course for the whole family, and for those who want to keep it light without sacrificing taste.

Ingredients
- 1.76 lbs chicken breast (sliced)
- juice of 2 lemons
- to taste herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme, marjoram)
- to taste roast seasoning
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper

- 1 Frying Pan
- 1 Baking Dish
- 1 Oil Sprayer
Steps
Remove any fat and small bones from the chicken breast, then gently pound it with a meat tenderizer.
Place the chicken slices in a baking dish, add lemon juice, rosemary, marjoram, thyme, sage, and a grind of pepper. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least an hour (you can also marinate the chicken in advance).
Once the chicken is marinated, drain it from the marinade.
Heat a pan well (you can also use a cast-iron grill), once it’s hot spray or brush (with a heat-resistant brush) the pan with oil, and place the chicken slices on top, brush the surface of the chicken with oil, sprinkle with roast seasoning and add a few sprigs of rosemary.
Cook the chicken over low heat, turning it to the other side only once it is well browned and let the other side brown as well.
At the end of cooking, lightly salt, brush with oil and serve.
The grilled chicken is ready to be enjoyed… Enjoy your meal!
