These meat rolls stuffed with potatoes are very easy to prepare, delicious and tasty, a different way to prepare the classic pork slice, which with this stuffing becomes very appetizing and liked by the whole family.
These meat rolls stuffed with potatoes are perfect for dinner or as a delicious second course, accompany them with a light salad or some tasty sautéed peas, try them, you will win everyone over at the first taste!
To prepare these meat rolls stuffed with potatoes, tasty potatoes are needed, I used the delicious Le Gustose from Marchese ortofrutta, firm and tasty yellow-fleshed potatoes, delicious in any way they are cooked, the best potatoes ever tasted and if you try them you will agree with me 😉

Ingredients
- 8 slices pork loin
- 3 potatoes
- 1.75 oz smoked scamorza cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Grana Padano cheese
- 1 egg
- 4 slices cooked ham (or raw)
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp grated Grana Padano cheese
- to taste roast herbs
- to taste pepper
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Steps
Wash the potatoes well, peel them, cut them into cubes, and put them in a large pot with plenty of water, cook them for about 20 minutes from boiling, after the cooking time do the skewer test, they should be soft.
Meanwhile, cut the scamorza cheese into small cubes.
With a meat tenderizer, thin out the meat slices.
As soon as the potatoes are cooked, drain them and mash them with the appropriate utensil or the tines of a fork, put them in a bowl.
Lightly beat the egg and add it to the potatoes, also add the grated cheese and a drizzle of oil, and mix all the ingredients well together with a wooden spoon, adjust the salt, and add a grind of pepper, mix everything, also add the scamorza cubes.
Our filling is ready.
Now we can prepare our rolls:
Fill the pork slices by laying them one at a time on a work surface, cover with half a slice of ham and place the potato mixture in the center, roll up the slice forming the rolls and close with a wooden toothpick.
Proceed in the same way for all the meat slices, fill them and form the rolls.
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Oil a baking dish that can hold all the rolls.
Put the breadcrumbs in a bowl and season with half a tablespoon of grated cheese, roast herbs, and a grind of pepper, mix everything.
Pass the rolls in the oil and then in the freshly prepared coating and arrange them gradually in the baking dish, complete with a tiny drizzle of oil and the remaining coating.
Bake at 356°F in the middle/lower part for about 20 minutes or until they are well browned.
Alternatively, you can cook your rolls in a pan, just drizzle it with a little oil and cook the rolls by browning them on all sides, at this point cover with a lid and cook for a few more minutes.
Serve immediately.
