Pan-Fried Breaded Turkey Bites.

The Pan-Fried Breaded Turkey Bites are a very simple dish to prepare, delicious and flavorful, small pieces of turkey soft inside and very crispy outside, thanks to the aromatic and tasty breading, a second course ready in no time that will conquer everyone at the first taste.

Ingredients

  • 1.8 lbs turkey breast (in one piece)
  • 1.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • to taste aromatic herbs (sage, rosemary, thyme, marjoram, parsley, garlic and onion powder, etc…)
  • garlic
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste salt

Tools

  • 2 Bowls
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Frying Pan

Steps

  • Cut the turkey breast into large chunks and place it in a large bowl.

    Add one tablespoon of oil, a pinch of salt, and the lemon juice, mix and let it marinate for about half an hour (you can leave it a little longer if you prefer).

    Meanwhile, prepare the breading.

    Put the aromatic herbs to taste (I used half a sage leaf, a few rosemary needles, dried parsley, a bit of onion and garlic powder, marjoram, and thyme) in a blender along with half the breadcrumbs and blend until you get a powdery mixture.

  • Put the breadcrumb and herbs mix in a bowl, add the remaining breadcrumbs, a grind of pepper, a pinch of salt, and the grated Parmesan cheese, mix with a spoon.

    Take the turkey bites from the marinade and coat them in the aromatic breadcrumbs a few pieces at a time, making sure it adheres well on all sides.


    Put a generous drizzle of oil in a large non-stick frying pan (13-inch pan) and heat it, add the turkey chunks in a single layer.


    Cook over medium/low heat, stirring and shaking the pan occasionally, until the turkey chunks are golden brown on all sides, then add the remaining breading and shake the pan, cooking for a few more minutes.
