Have you ever heard of chia pudding? Well, I made a Chia Yogurt and Fruit Pudding, perfect as a mid-morning snack or as a nutrient boost after a quick breakfast with just a coffee.
I prepared the Chia Yogurt and Fruit Pudding with yogurt instead of plant milk because I wanted a thick pudding, and I let it rest in the refrigerator overnight so it’s super creamy when you scoop it in the morning.
If you want it creamy, use almond milk or oat milk or even soy milk instead of yogurt, and it will be perfect and balanced.
Chia seeds are rich in omega 3, and combined with seasonal fruit and a sweetener of your choice, the chia pudding will be perfect.
Below, I leave you other ideas for sweet snacks with chia seeds and more, and right after the photo, as always, we will discover how to prepare the Chia Yogurt and Fruit Pudding!!

Ingredients for Chia Yogurt and Fruit Pudding
- 1 cup fruit-flavored yogurt (of choice)
- 2 tbsps chia seeds
- as needed fresh fruit (bananas, peaches, plums)
- 1.8 oz Greek yogurt 0% fat
- 2 tsps maple syrup (or honey or agave syrup)
Preparation of Chia Yogurt and Fruit Pudding
Prepare the chia seed pudding by adding 1 fruit-flavored yogurt (your choice) along with the chia seeds in each glass.
Mix well with a spatula and add the syrup or honey (your choice) and mix again.
Cover with plastic wrap and let the Chia pudding rest in the fridge overnight or from morning to evening.
Before enjoying it, add the Greek yogurt on top and the fresh fruit cut into slices or pieces.
If after resting it seems too thick, you can add 2 tablespoons of milk and mix well before adding the fruit.
If you want to make it with more fruit, you can prepare the pudding in a bowl and the next day prepare the glasses by adding a couple of tablespoons of pudding, some fruit pieces, and more pudding.
Wait, before you go, I’ll leave you my FACEBOOK PAGE if you want to be updated every day with my recipe.
Keep in mind that the longer it rests in the fridge, the more compact the pudding will be, so before adding the fruit, make sure the consistency is what you want; otherwise, thin it with milk and mix.
