Homemade chicken burgers are really simple and quick to make.
You will need a few simple ingredients to have excellent burgers, much better than packaged ones, and you can also add some vegetables.
For example, I added some olives which go very well with the chicken, enhancing the burgers’ flavor.
Give it a try, and these chicken burgers can also be frozen raw, simply separated with parchment paper to easily detach them whenever needed.

Ingredients for Chicken Burgers
- 1.1 lbs chicken breast
- 10 black olives
- 2 tbsps dried parsley
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsps breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
Tools
- 1 Pan
- 1 burger press
Preparation of Chicken Burgers
To prepare the chicken burgers, first clean the chicken breast by removing the small bone if present and any excess fat.
Cut it into chunks and grind it with a meat grinder or a food processor (you can also ask your butcher to do this).
Place the ground chicken in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add the breadcrumbs, parsley, and roughly chopped olives.
Mix everything very well, then take about 2.8 oz of the mixture and form a ball by compacting it between your hands.
If you have a burger press, insert the meatball and press well to form the burgers. Otherwise, you can use the lid of a jar; cover the meatball with plastic wrap and place it inside the lid, pressing very well.
Take the burgers out and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a cast iron grill pan or a skillet with some extra virgin olive oil, cook the chicken burgers for 3 minutes on one side, then turn them with a slotted spatula.
Finish cooking and serve while still hot, accompanied by fresh vegetables and mayonnaise, or simply with classic hamburger buns.
