Ingredients for Coffee and Coconut Cream Pastries

  • 6.8 oz fresh liquid cream
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee (or 1 espresso coffee)
  • 2.1 tbps powdered sugar
  • 16 ladyfingers
  • to taste grated coconut
  • 1 coffee cup coffee (optional)
  • 1.7 oz milk

Preparation Coffee and Coconut Cream Pastries

  • To prepare the Coffee Ladyfinger Pastries, first make the espresso coffee and let it cool.

    If you don’t want to use instant coffee for the cream, prepare 2 espresso coffees and let them cool very well.

  • Whip the fresh cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and keep it in the refrigerator.

    To whip it faster, place both the whisks and the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  • Mix the espresso coffee with the milk in a deep plate and in another deep plate place the grated coconut.

  • When the cream is well whipped, add the instant coffee or the completely cold cup of coffee and whip for a few moments to blend.

    Place the coffee cream in a pastry bag with a nozzle of your choice.

  • Quickly pass a ladyfinger in the plate with milk and coffee, fill with the cream, then pass the second ladyfinger in the milk and close the coffee ladyfinger pastries.

  • Roll them quickly in the coconut and arrange them on a serving plate.

  • Decorate on top with more coffee cream and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
