The coffee cream and biscuit semifreddo is delicious, very easy and quick to prepare, and especially without baking, which is even better now that the heat is starting, and we crave desserts that are cool and quick without cooking anything. With very few ingredients, you will have an incredibly creamy after-meal dessert that everyone at the table will love, and you can also serve it as a tasty snack for the whole family since the coffee percentage is minimal.
The coffee cream semifreddo can also be stored in the freezer and cut like a semifreddo after 10 minutes out of the freezer, or stored in the freezer if you don’t intend to eat it right away, and then placed in the fridge for 1 hour before eating it to make it creamy and fresh.
To make this recipe, I was first inspired by the photo from my dear friend CHEZ BIBIA only to discover that her perfectly made recipe is very similar to this one I prepared without knowing it, so it’s only right to name her as the author of this version, a perfect semifreddo just like she can make, being a very established person in the field of desserts and especially semifreddi, it seems the least I can do to name her with her recipe.
Below I leave you more ideas for semifreddi for every occasion.
Let’s discover how to prepare this delicious dessert right after the photo as always!!

Preparation of coffee cream and biscuit semifreddo
To prepare the coffee cream semifreddo, first make the condensed milk following my recipe HERE, or you can use store-bought.
Prepare the coffee with the moka or any coffee machine available and let it cool, I don’t sweeten it since the condensed milk is sweet by itself.
Once the coffee and condensed milk are cold, mix them very well with a spoon.
Now you can whip the cream along with mascarpone until very stiff, I always leave the bowl and whisks in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so it turns out perfect and doesn’t deflate.
Then you can mix the condensed milk with the cream using a rubber spatula with gentle movements from bottom to top.
We are ready to assemble the coffee cream semifreddo, now take a rectangular glass container and quickly dip the biscuits in milk.
Cover the base of the container with biscuits, spread a portion of the coffee cream on top, dip more biscuits and cover with cream again, and repeat one more layer finishing with coffee cream.
Place the coffee cream and biscuit semifreddo in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving, and if you don’t plan to eat it soon, you can also store it in the freezer, covering the surface with aluminum foil if your container doesn’t have a lid.
Before serving the semifreddo, sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa powder and..
