Greek Yogurt Cup with Almond Brittle

A quick dessert, the Greek Yogurt Cup with Almond Brittle is perfect for ending an evening sweetly without worries.

A quick dessert, as I call no-bake desserts, is truly delightful thanks to Greek yogurt. This cup is perfect for everyone, including children. A lightly sweet dessert since I didn’t add sugar because I used already sweetened whipping cream, but if you want to make it very sweet, you can add a few tablespoons and use fresh liquid cream instead.

Another variation that I find would be truly delightful is the addition of hazelnut cream or, at this time of year, chestnut cream, perhaps making a layer of yogurt cream, one of hazelnut or chestnut cream, and then yogurt cream again. If you try it, let me know.

Below I leave you other desserts to try during this period, and then let’s go right under the photo to find out how to prepare the Greek Yogurt Cup with Almond Brittle!!

  • 0.5 cup whipping cream (already sweetened or fresh liquid cream)
  • 5.3 oz Greek yogurt 0% fat (vanilla-flavored)

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Electric Whisk
  • 1 Spatula rubber
  • 1 Pastry Bag

Preparation of Greek Yogurt Cup with Almond Brittle

  • Preparing the Greek Yogurt Cup is very simple; first, with a smooth-edged knife, cut the brittle into rough pieces.

    Set aside.

  • Whip the cream well chilled from the fridge. We used already sweetened whipping cream, but if you prefer, you can use fresh liquid cream.

In this case, add powdered sugar to taste.

  • Add the Greek yogurt and incorporate it with the electric whisk, then switch to a silicone spatula and incorporate the almond brittle.

  • Leave a few teaspoons of brittle to add at the end for decoration.

  • Fill a pastry bag (even without a nozzle if you don’t have one) with the mixture and fill the cups or glasses.

  • Decorate on top with the reserved brittle and place in the refrigerator for a few hours before enjoying.

  • If you want to make the Greek Yogurt Cup even more indulgent, make a layer of yogurt cream in each cup, add a few tablespoons of hazelnut or chestnut cream.

  • Continue with a layer of yogurt cream and more hazelnut cream until each cup is filled.

How to Store the Greek Yogurt Cup with Brittle

You can keep the cups in the refrigerator for 1 day, otherwise you risk the brittle becoming soggy and losing its crunchiness.
